This medium size enterprise was fast growing, leading to the necessity of process and system changes. The development and implementation of various system tools to create real-time communication and information flow across the company were imperative.
The purpose of my engagement was to streamline inefficient procedures, to implement debtor reports and improvements in collection procedure. An extremely complex reconciliation process was developed, which directly affected the company’s entitlement to trading discounts based on forecasting accuracy, product quality and the reconciliation of up to 5000 items every month. The improvements resulted in Business-wide productivity and information flow, and had a direct impact on the financial bottom line.
Simultaneously, I owned and managed all financial aspects in the scoping and modelling for the implementation of a new ERP system, which was to replace various insufficient stand-alone applications and standard system tools.
